A Handful Of Poems By Hazel Marsay

Child Of The Sun

A CHILD OF THE SUN SO BEAUTIFUL
 WITH HAIR OF GOLDEN HUE.
SHE WALKS WITH RAYS OF SUNSHINE,
 NEATH SUMMER SKIES OF BLUE.

THE BIRDS ALL STOP THEIR SINGING,
 WHEN SHE GOES WALKING BY.
SHE SINGS A GENTLE LILTING SONG
 THE NOTES GO SOARING HIGH.

CHILD OF THE SUN SO BEAUTIFUL
 YOU LEAVE A SPECIAL GLOW.
 YELLOW RAYS OF HAPPINESS ,
 GENTLE BREEZES BLOW.

                                 HAZEL P MARSAY.
