Land of make believe

LISTEN WHILE I TELL YOU
A STORY THAT IS TRUE.
ABOUT THE LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE,
AND A FAIRY DRESSED IN BLUE.

SHE CAME UPON MY WINDOW SILL,
ONE BRIGHT AND STARRY NIGHT.
SHE TWINKLED AND SHE SPARKLED
WITH A BLUE AND SILVERY LIGHT.

I WATCHED HER VERY CAREFULLY,
THE AIR AROUND WAS STILL
AND THEN SHE BECKONED TO ME
I CAN NEVER FORGET THAT THRILL.

DON’T BE AFRAID MY LITTLE ONE
 I AM YOUR FAIRY FRIEND.
THEN IN A TWINKLE SHE WAS GONE.
NOW MY STORY'S AT AN END.
