A Handful Of Poems

A Handful Of Poems By Hazel Marsay

Far Away

FAR AWAY I HEAR YOU CALL
 AS I SIT ALL ALONE,
THE WAVES CARESS THE SANDY SHORE
THAT YOU AND I HAVE KNOWN.

 SUMMERS GONE,NOW AUTUMN CREEPS
 AND YOUR NO LONGER HERE.
YOU’VE LEFT ME WITH JUST MEMORIES
 A LAUGH A SMILE A TEAR.

LONELY THE HEART THAT’S LOVED AND LOST
 SILENT THE TEARS THAT FALL.
LOST IN A WORLD OF MAKE BELIEVE.
WILL YOU EVER COME BACK TO CALL.

SO LITTLE TIME WE HAD TO SHARE.
WERE YOU EVER IN LOVE WITH ME.
OH, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME.
AND GO SAILING ACROSS THE SEA.

                                      HAZEL P MARSAY..
